About the company
This fast growing, innovative Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed life sciences company develops, manufactures, and distributes anti-aging products. With head office in Sydney, the Company operates two overseas offices; one is the US and one in Japan.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for commercially minded but technically astute recent science graduate, preferably in biological sciences, to support the company's CEO and senior executive team.
Working closely with management, the role has great potential for a dynamic and motivated candidate to gain experience in various aspects of the business. This is a varied role that requires a desire to learn new skills.
This role includes but not limited to:
- Assisting the CEO with crafting and executing consistent messaging across investor relations materials, social channels, and internal documents
- Assist in drafting regular reports and coordinating monthly reporting from departments
- General correspondence internally and with external parties
- Assisting the executive group on projects and initiatives
- Providing support to the executive team with critical business activities such as business development, regulatory affairs, intellectual property, preparation for documentations for tax filing, grants and legal affairs
- Undertaking and managing projects as required
Education, skills and experience
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in biological or biochemical sciences (preference will be given to Honors or PhD graduates)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to write well is an essential requirement
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, at least mid-level in Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
- Strong numerical skills, understanding of statistics
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding focus and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in working independently, proactively and displaying initiative
- A 'can do' positive attitude with the ability to perform to deadline
- Friendly and open personality and excellent interpersonal skills
