Cooper Grace Ward is seeking a full time Trust Account Clerk to join their Finance team.

Working as a part of the finance team and reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will need to have proven experience in a high-volume environment and the ability to take ownership of your role. Experience in a legal or professional services environment will be highly regarded although not essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Process trust account receipts-cheques and direct deposits.
• Draw trust account cheques and EFTs
• PEXA verifications
• Prepare bank cheques and telegraphic transfers for settlements and entering bank charges for bank cheques and telegraphic transfers onto the system
• Open and close investments, post interest
• Daily banking
• Any additional tasks required from time to time for the continued successful and smooth operation of the business

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 3 to 5 years’ trust experience
• Strong and proactive trust experience with good problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills including the ability to multitask
• Great communication skills combined with a high level of customer service skills
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills
